Environmental Specialist III
Architectural Historian
The Delaware
Department of Transportation, Division of Transportation Solutions, Environmental
Stewardship has a vacancy for an Environmental Specialist III/Architectural
Historian. The position will perform and manage Historic
Architecture surveys within areas affected by DelDOT projects, including
fieldwork, analysis and evaluation, and technical report writing. Duties also
include consultation efforts and documentation associated with Section 106 of the
National Historic Preservation Act. The applicant must be familiar with
Cultural Resource Management practices and have 3+ years of experience. Interested
applicants must be in possession of at least a master’s degree in
Historic Preservation, Architectural History, or closely related field and have
knowledge of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and the
implementing regulations under 36 CFR Part 800.
Position is a pay grade 15 and starting
salary is $52,950.00. Interested
