& Partners, LLC Architects (BRPA) is an award-winning architecture,
planning and historic resources firm. BRPA provides professional services, including
educational value and consultation resources, for a wide range of clients
including property owners, public agencies, private corporations, municipal
governments, nonprofits, construction companies, and other design firms. The
multidisciplinary practice specializes in the contextual design, adaptive
reuse, and thoughtful restoration of historic buildings and cultural
environments across the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Description: Interdisciplinary
Historic Preservation Architect to assist with full range of project tasks
including performing on-site surveys and historic research, preparation of
detailed construction drawings and specifications, construction administration,
as well as the assembling of historic structure reports and preservation design
guidelines. We are looking for someone to join our team who is self-motivated,
hardworking, and who shares our passion for working on cultural resources of
all kinds.
Requirements: Undergraduate or
graduate degree in Architecture with a specialization in Historic Preservation.
Knowledge of the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of
Historic Properties. Candidates must have a minimum 5 years’ experience in the
architecture field specializing in historic preservation projects and be
proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and MS Office (Word,
Excel, PPT, etc.). Candidates should be able to work independently, remotely,
and collaboratively, while demonstrating the ability to manage project scope,
schedule and costs, possessing strong communication and writing skills. Limited
interstate travel to project sites may be required.
Candidates must be a US citizen or
permanent U.S. resident.
