The Heritage Preservation section
in the City Planning Department is filling an Associate Planner position, which
may be underfilled by an Assistant or a Junior Planner position with opportunity
for career advancement.
Working in the Heritage
Preservation section in the City Planning Department under the direction of a
Senior Planner, the Junior, Assistant or Associate Planner position will be
responsible for duties that may include: review of project applications
impacting designated and potentially historic resources, nominations for
individual historic resource designations, Mills Act applications and
enforcement, development of historic context statements, preparation of
historic resource reconnaissance surveys, preparation and processing of
historic district nominations, and development and implementation of heritage
preservation policy and regulations.

Salary Range: $61,859.20 - $74,630.40 Annually
