The Pacific Northwest Preservation Field School will hold three one-week sessions at Deception Pass State Park, Washington late August and early September. The curriculum includes rehabilitating historic windows, log work, and focused workshops, as well as lectures on cultural resource management, preservation, architectural history, wood science, and more
When and What:
All sessions will include log work and instruction in wood window repair.
Session 1: August 25-August 3 | Session 1 will also focus on landscape preservation.
Session 2: September 1-7 | Session 2 will also focus on wood pathology and identification.
Session 3: September 8-13 |Session 3 will also focus on documentation and preservation technology.
Applications deadline is August 1st.
