As a Historic Preservation Specialist - Above Ground Environmental Reviewer, your responsibilities relate to advising and assisting state and/or federal agencies in the consideration of above ground cultural resources and historic properties in their project planning and programs. You will also conduct or assist with proactive research, documentation, and survey efforts. Effective communication is essential as is the knowledge of state and federal historic preservation programs and experience in above ground cultural resource survey. Work includes reviewing state and federally sponsored projects, evaluating their effects on above ground cultural resources, participating in the management and collection of above ground survey and compliance review, as well as working with state and federal agencies regarding the management of above ground resources.
