Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation's Annual Meeting - Tracing the Journey: Maps as Metaphors
August 3-8, 2008 |
Using the maps of Lewis and Clark as metaphors for the many stories of the trail and the expedition, the Foundation's 40th Annual Meeting will trace the journeys of the Native Americans, our struggle to identify the expedition route by examining two hotly contested theories on the location of the Two Medicine fight site, and the creation and growth of the trail and the Foundation. We will honor our past presidents at the meeting.
We will be having future meetings in the following locations: October 2009, along the Natchez Trace Trail in Tennessee; and August 2010, in Lewiston, Idaho.
