Winter Wonders Market at Ventfort Hall

February 1, 2025

LENOX, MA. Come to the first Winter Wonders Market at Ventfort Hall on Saturday, February 1 from 10 am to 4 pm. Discover wintery delights from local craftspeople and farmers. The mansion is open for the market only.

Visit this cozy, indoor marketplace featuring local growers and artisans! Come in out of the cold and enjoy the warmth of the mansion while you shop. Here are some of the vendors you will get to meet and see their wares: Odd Bird Farm, Sheep in Wool Clothing, Beloved Buildings by Only in My Dreams, Attainment Designs, Colonial Alpacas, Lightforce Bakery, Mill Brook Sugarhouse, and more.

Admission to the market is free. A suggested $5.00 donation towards maintenance of the mansion is appreciated. The mansion is located at 104 Walker St., Lenox, MA. Visit GildedAge.org for more information.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated by the Massachusetts Cultural Council as an important partner of the Lenox Cultural District, one of the five such Berkshire County districts, Ventfort Hall Gilded Age Mansion and Museum was built in 1893 for George and Sarah Morgan, the sister of legendary financier J. Pierpont Morgan.

Self-guided tours of the historic mansion are offered daily, as well as talks, such exhibitions as the Bellefontaine Collection, concerts, theater, ghost tours and hunts as well as other programs. This elegant Jacobean-Revival Berkshire “cottage” is open to the public year-round and is available for private rental. Ventfort Hall, also an Official Project of Save America’s Treasures program sponsored by The White House, has undergone substantial restoration, which continues.
