Show in a Week: Charlotte’s Web – Actors & Technicians Registration

April 12, 2025
Show in a Week: Charlotte’s Web – Actors & Technicians Registration

Join Goshen Theater’s Education Department for their second annual Show in a Week Intensive for youth ages 8-18years. This year’s show is “Charlotte’s Web”. Young performers and technicians will have one week to learn and stage a full production of “Charlotte’s Web” adapted by Joseph Robinette based on the book by E.B. White.
Actors and Technicians arrive on Monday, April 7. After a quick audition process for the actors, and technical position interviews, casting and technical positions are announced and rehearsals begin! While actors are learning the show and rehearsing, our technicians are building and designing the show with professional technicians. The show will be performed in the Miller Auditiorium at Goshen Theater on April 12, at 3PM.

Each student receives a show t-shirt, two free tickets to the final show, and a cast party after the show!

Synopsis:
The classic telling of the story of a young pig named Wilbur who is saved from being slaughtered by his unlikely friend, Charlotte, a barn spider, who cleverly writes messages in her web to convince the farmer of Wilbur’s value, ultimately securing his life through a “miracle” at the county fair, while facing her own mortality in the process.
