The Elkhart County Jail Ministry partnered with local, nationally renowned artist Brooke Rothshank, to offer a two week art class to men and women living at the Elkhart County Work Release Center. The two week class led by Brooke Rothshank taught participants fundamentals of drawing and painting, culminating in each participant producing works of art that will be displayed for the public during Goshen’s First Friday’s event on Friday, March 7th from 5-8pm at the Goshen Theater, downtown Goshen.

There will be a brief ceremony at 6:30pm in the lobby of the Goshen Theater
recognizing the artists. Speakers will be:
Brooke Rothshank, Artist
Karen Hochstedler, Chaplain, Elkhart County Jail Ministry
Susan Visser, Executive Director, Goshen Theater
Artists of displayed artwork (Work Release participants)

WHAT: Elkhart County Jail Ministry Art Exhibit

WHEN: Friday, March 7th from 5:00-8:00pm with short ceremony at 6:30pm

WHERE: Goshen Theater, 216 S. Main Street, Goshen

The series will be on display in the Goshen Theater Lobby March 7 – April 4, and can be viewed during all public events and box office hours (Tu-Fr, 12-4PM).
