The 1772 Foundation, in cooperation with Preservation Massachusetts, is making 1:1 matching grants of up to $10,000 to eligible non profit organizations.  Funds are available for exterior preservation projects,such as  painting, finishes and surface restoration, porch repair/restoration, roofs, windows, foundation and sill repairs, and chimney and masonry repointing.  

Letters of inquiry are due on November 6, 2023, and invitations for full applications will go out in early January 2024.

If your project isn't quite ready for this grant round, don't worry. The 1772 Foundation has committed to another round of funding in 2025.
